Join us for our first Wasm Triangle meetup! This meetup is for anyone interested in Wasm and meeting some of the folks involved in various projects from the W3C, Bytecode Alliance, and the Confidential Computing Consortium. We're starting with an introduction so if you're totally new, this is a great place to start!

This event is hosted at the SingleStore office in downtown Raleigh. Doors open at 5:30 PM and the talk begins ten minutes after 6 PM.

Our speaker is Nathaniel McCallum who is CTO @ Profian and Co-Founder of Enarx. Wasm is key to the Enarx project by being the vehicle that allows developers to deploy applications to a TEE (Trusted Execution Environment) without any rewrites from languages like Rust, C, C++, Go, and many more, as well as deploy the the same application code transparently across multiple architectures, from Intel to AMD.

Nathaniel works on security, identity and cryptography technologies in open source projects. He is the author of many open source software projects, including FreeOTP (Android/iOS), José, Clevis and Tang, and a regular contributor to other security technologies, including FreeIPA, MIT Kerberos, OpenSSL and the Linux kernel. Nathaniel also works in applied cryptography, and is one of the inventors of the McCallum-Relyea key exchange. Likewise, he regularly contributes to IETF internet standards. Most recently, Nathaniel is a co-founder of the Enarx project.
