Still Investigating

Boy, I am so sorry to see that I have left several of you in the lurch. Only this morning did I find an email telling me that a fifth (yes, 5!) member had joined my group. So far I had notice of only one, and we had spoken without coming to any real plans.

Anyway, I was hoping to investigate more local trivia events, but I did try one just the week before Xmas: only bad part to me was the entire evening was Xmas themed trivia. We could all join to try it again, or if anyone has another suggestion, please let me know. If the group does not much care for this place/event, there seem to be plenty in town.

The place I have in mind is the "Might As Well" bar & grill at 206 W. Franklin Street in Chapel Hill, across from Target. Its Trivia Night runs on Wednesdays at 8pm. I know this is rather last minute, but if at least one other of you would like to join me, then I will go.

There is pay parking under this building with its entrance on Rosemary Street, but I went just a little farther to the east, entrance still on Rosemary, and found a gravel lot with no marked spaces that should be free (little better than free parking, especially as T'Hill has become so much more crowded).

Since Pepper's Pizza closed I have been searching for good pizza in Chapel Hill, so I tried theirs and was pleasantly surprised. Good crust and good amount of tomato sauce, only downside to me was very ordinary selection of toppings. Of course, if you do not want pizza, they have plenty of other options.

The sooner any of you can let me know of your interest, the better it will be for whomever wants to come. If it's a little too last minute for you, please let me know and we can schedule something a little more Back To The Future.
