Wasted Wargaming is a community collaboration between Joystick Gamebar and Dice City Games, built to bring miniature wargamers together in East Atlanta Village. We welcome brand-new recruits, longtime players, and the people ready to teach the next generation, all coming together to learn, play, share the hobby, and find their place at the table.

Joystick and Dice City are the kinds of welcoming, proudly nerdy places where people can show up, share what they love, and find community. Third spaces like these, places outside home and work where people can return often enough to know and be known, are essential yet increasingly hard to find. Wasted Wargaming exists to bring people together, using tabletop games to make meeting people a little easier and East Atlanta Village a little less anonymous. Our experienced organizers have been running events with Joystick for a decade, and we cannot wait to help bring that energy to Joystick's new home in East Atlanta Village!

BEGINNER-FRIENDLY NOT BEGINNER-ONLY!

We're starting with learn-to-play nights and friendly matchups, but that is only our opening move - get ready for turn two. We're planning competative leagues, painting nights, and tournaments with prizes, merch, and eternal glory. So whether you've been playing for years or have never even heard of Space Marines, come and have a seat - your table is ready.
