Open Studio Day

Get ready to marble! The Mayu Silk Art Studio will be open on Thursday September 28 from about 4pm to about 7pm (other times are available) for our anyone who would like to try their hand at water marbling on silk, or who are just insterested in watching the art happen.

No experience required - all ages welcome!! The studio is not open for walk-ins. PLEASE CALL TO LET US KNOW WHAT TIME YOU PLAN TO ARRIVE! (949)424-3458.

Our group host, Star McCain, and her partner Phil, will be on hand to guide you as you create your one-of-a-kind hand painted silk scarf, sarong, throw pillow cover, or sheet of fabric (up to 2 yards long). Prices are listed below.

No charge to come and hang out. This is a great time to learn more about our classes & workshops, parties and corporate evetns, and our 32-hour intensive business course.

14" x 72" Silk Scarf $39 (2 for $70, 3 or more for $33 each)

8" x 24" Silk Sash $15

14" x 14" Silk Satin Throw Pillow Cover with zipper, painted on both sides (requires a simple hem on 3 sides). $28 or two for $50 * 14" pillow insert is $6 *

11" x 60" Silk Scarf w/ 4" silk fringe $39 (2 for $70, 3 or more $33 each)

36" x 60" Silk Sarong $70

44" x 72" Silk Sarong $85

Please note that on this occasion, we will only be working on 100% silk. If you wish to do paper or non-silk fabrics, please inquire about future opportunities.
