It's time to return to the Stag at Bay tavern in Everlund to pick up another job from The Silver Syndicate.

It's Marpenoth in Fearûin, or Leaffall, as the common folk calls it. The nights grow longer and darker, and the quests grow stranger. No time of year is a safe time in the north, yet at this time of year, truly terrible occurrences seem to happen.

Grevil is an old nothern fishing village, poor and malnourished. It's fishing nets have come out of the dark ocean empty for months. The people rely on Oskar Malkov, a rich, powerful and kind man. Always eager to distribute his wealth in large donations of food and clothing to the poor. The village grows hungry and Oskar is nowhere to be seen... His mansion still looms over the village, quiet, cold and distant.

Meanwhile. The town of Overlook calls for aid! Something has taken up residence in the mine just outside of the town, children have been kidnapped, livestock has been killed and town guard who braved the darkness of the mines have not come back. The Silver Syndicate has been asked to send a group of hardy adventurers into the mine and kill or drive away what lurks inside. Will they see the light of day again?

This meeting continues our framing device for the D&D 5e adventures that we run. Rather than a collection of standalone one-shots, each adventure is a mission you undertake as a member of The Silver Syndicate.

André and Seán will each have an adventure on offer, the details of which will be explained in character. Your characters can then divide yourselves up amongst the missions as ye see fit, and we will split into two groups to run them.

The adventures will be split over two sessions, so there will be a pause in the middle of your adventure, which will be resumed at the next session. This will hopefully mean the sessions feel a bit less rushed at the end.

The second part of this adventure will be held on 30/10/19 in Waterford comics.

Please note that, as this will be held in Waterford Comics, there will be a 5 euro charge per head to cover the costs of the room. However, the owner says we are welcome to bring alcoholic drinks for ourselves if we wish. Waterford Comics will also provide complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits.
