"Money for Old Mold" & "Stay in School"

Details
It's time to return to the Stag at Bay tavern in Everlund to pick up another job from The Silver Syndicate.
Officials in the nearby city of Silverymoon are becoming increasingly concerned about suspicious wildlife deaths in the Moonwood to the north of the city. There have been reports of a spreading purple mold that they believe is the cause. Fearing that people may become sick if disease spreads, they have contracted The Silver Syndicate to trace the mold to its source and burn it to ash.
Silver Syndicate guildmaster Earnest Finchley-Dale is eager to build better relations with the officials of Silverymoon…and the job pays well. So he’s asking for volunteers who aren’t afraid of a little pestilence.
[Note: guild health insurance does not cover diseases contracted in the course of carrying out guild business. Any expenses incurred in curing said diseases must be covered by the individual guild member in question. The guild can, however, provide access to a cleric for a fee.]
Meanwhile, Frank Hemlock, P.I. has another job for the guild.
St. Jude’s Preparatory school was once the pre-eminent finishing school for the children of nobles across the land. But for over a decade, its gates have been chained, its doors barred, and its lights darkened.
Hemlock has asked the Syndicate to travel there and recover some artefacts rumoured to be still on the grounds. And, if they’re lucky, figure out what really happened all those years ago.

This meeting continues our framing device for the D&D 5e adventures that we run. Rather than a collection of standalone one-shots, each adventure is a mission you undertake as a member of The Silver Syndicate.
The DMs will each have an adventure on offer, the details of which will be explained in character. Your characters can then divide yourselves up amongst the missions as ye see fit, and we will split into two groups to run them.
If needed, the adventures may be split over two sessions. So if the adventure is not concluded in one session, there will be a pause in the middle of your adventure, which will be resumed at the next session.
Please note that, as this will be held in Waterford Comics, there will be a 5 euro charge per head to cover the costs of the room. However, the owner says we are welcome to bring alcoholic drinks for ourselves if we wish. Waterford Comics will also provide complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits.
