Walk Audit - Downtown Kitchener

Join us for a winter walk audit of downtown Kitchener.

A walk audit is a simple walk during which
you assess how supportive the street is for walking.

Walk audits can be done solo, but are often conducted by a group of people using a checklist to assess street infrastructure and conditions, documenting barriers, positive features, activities, and perceptions of the walking environment.

Walk audits identify how to make a street better for people of all ages and abilities. We encourage people from all walks of life to join us and share their unique perspectives.

You will also become equipped to conduct your own walk audits of your neighborhoods.
