College: Its pitfalls and alternatives

Details

According to a 2018 Pew Research study, 61% of American adults believe that higher education is headed in the wrong direction. Costs have skyrocketed, classes don't apply to real life, and college students suffer mentally through the enormous workload.

We'll talk more about higher education's problems and why exactly a degree is sought after if the knowledge doesn't even apply to the job. In particular, we'll hear from Bryan Caplan, a PhD economist who recently published "The Case Against Education: Why the Education System is a Waste of Time and Money."

More importantly, we'll cover the best solutions to the college debt crisis: VERY inexpensive colleges and non-degree certificates. How would you like to pay just $7k a year without worrying about room and board?

We'll also cover the types of jobs you can get without a college degree that are relatively high-paying.
