What we’re about
For those who have or those who are still recovering from PTSD, particularly Complex PTSD. At 56 years old, having run several successful businesses, one event sent my nervous system into turmoil. It was actually the 'straw that broke the camels back' scenario. After a lifetime of 'coping' with childhood abuse, etc, etc, etc, my body simply couldn't take another major disruption. I practice Somatic exercises and know how to bring myself 'back to the Present '. As anyone with PTSD knows , it can be tiring. Also lonely sometimes. It is hard to help others without PTSD understand that it's not a situation we can 'think' our way out of. The Body Bears the Burden as the book says! Wondered if anyone was interested in sharing experiences and ways of coping. Love and Light, Jane.
