Are you a creative looking for a community of fellow fantasy nerds to craft with and learn from? Does hitting people with pool noodles on sticks sound super fun?
Amtgard is a free, friendly, and Inclusive foam sword fighting sport dedicated to medieval combat and fantasy crafting that occurs weekly at University Terrace Park!
We fight with a variety of padded weapons, including swords, shields, spears, bows, spells and more! No experience required! we have loaner swords and shields, and are more then willing to teach you how to make any custom gear you want!
we also do a wide variety of crafts and game design! we have masters of sewing, leather working, metal working, and do quite a few craft nights!
We have a pretty large playerbase that is not on meetup, and on average get about 25 players every Sunday. We have a discord server that we can add you to when you attend!
