
What we’re about
The Waxhaw Arts Council is a non-profit, 501-C3 organization that promotes the development of art education in Western Union County, North Carolina and encourages artistic passion and talents by being both a window and a voice for the arts in the Waxhaw area.
The Waxhaw Arts Council purpose is to:
Enhance and promote the viability of our community’s art talents through strong support and encouragement of the arts.
Ignite artistic passion in all types and levels of artists by strengthening and expanding art organizations, art programs and events in our community. Enable area artists and students to display their craft and skill locally.
Educate the public about the various art disciplines, both visual and performing.
Bring enthusiasm to the Waxhaw area for artistic expression.
Increase art education opportunities and serve as a conduit for introducing art into our area from other regions.

We are excited to invite you to our next Waxhaw Arts Council meeting, featuring a very special Show and Tell Artist and Jeweler, Sherry Masters!
Please Note the Date: Our meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 4th, which is Election Day.### 🗳️ We strongly encourage all members to vote early!
Great News! Early Voting has already started in Union County, NC!
We want to make sure everyone can participate in this important election without rushing, so please plan to cast your vote before the meeting.

Sherry is known for her unique and modern jewelry that features a variety of techniques, including using metal clay, polymer clay, and traditional metalsmithing with sterling silver and 22K gold. Her pieces often incorporate elements like pearls, emeralds, rubies, and beautiful stones.
