URBAN WALK 4: Nourah's Loop on Sports Boulevard (10+ km)

For our fourth Urban Walk, we will explore Nourah's Loop on Sports Boulevard.

Meeting point:
We’ll meet directly at the walk starting point, outside the Princess Noura University 2 metro stop. While I recommend you take public transportation to avoid traffic, parking is available, and this location is accessible by taxi. Please allow ample time to arrive on time, as the walk will promptly.

The route is expected to cover about 10 km, but I will be discovering it with you, so I may change the route based on the circumstances.

The route was recommended by Muhannad, who runs an excellent hiking group called Infinite Trails.

Schedule:

• 7:50 PM: Gather at the meeting point.
• 8:00 PM: Brief introductions and get an overview of the route.
• 8:05 PM: Begin walk.
• 10:00 PM: Estimated end time.

Important notes:

• Walk departs promptly at 8:05pm.
• I will lead this walk at a moderately brisk pace. However, individuals are welcome to set their own pace, and you will be able to join a WhatsApp group at the starting point to help you track the route and reconnect if needed.
• Please bring a headlamp/flashlight or ensure your phone is charged in case we find ourselves in an area that is poorly lit.
• This is a free, informal activity. Unlike our Saturday hikes, you can leave the walk whenever it suits you—there’s no check-in or check-out.
• I will not be able to respond to texts and messages before or during the walk.

It’s a great opportunity to get some exercise, meet new people, and enjoy Riyadh’s urban landscape.
