URBAN WALK 6: Sports Boulevard - Wadi Hanifa (up to 12 km)

For our sixth Urban Walk, we will continue exploring the recently-opened Sports Boulevard. We will meet near Bujairi Terrarce and head into Wadi Hanifah, following the Sports Boulevard trail.

Full out-and-back walk will cover approximately 12 km. However, you will be able to shorten the walk by turning around earlier or taking an Uber at any time.

Meeting point:
We’ll meet directly at the walk starting point at Adhwaihrah Garden. Parking is available, and this location is accessible by taxi. Please allow ample time to arrive on time, as the walk will depart promptly.

Schedule:

• 7:50 PM: Gather at the meeting point.
• 8:00 PM: Brief introduction to the route.
• 8:05 PM: Begin walk.
• 10:15 PM: Estimated return to starting point.

Important notes:

• Walk departs promptly at 8:05pm.
• I will lead this walk at a moderately brisk pace. However, individuals are welcome to set their own pace, and you will be able to join a WhatsApp group at the starting point to help you track the route and reconnect if needed.
• This is a free, informal activity. Unlike our Saturday hikes, you can leave the walk whenever it suits you—there’s no check-in or check-out.
• I will not be able to respond to texts and messages before or during the walk.

It’s a great opportunity to get some exercise, meet new people, and enjoy Riyadh’s urban landscape.
