Join us at Waypoint, a meditative service for seekers of all traditions. Waypoint is a meditative service of music, prayer and silence. We gather in a candlelit chapel and begin with a sung call to prayer. A passage from a spiritual text is read and a few very brief remarks about the passage are shared. We then sing chants based on passages from scripture or other holy writings. Each chant is repeated for 5 minutes.
A common opening chant from Jeremiah 6:16
"Stand at the crossroads and watch.
Ask about the ancient paths.
Ask where the good road is.
Walk it and find rest for your souls."
Chants are interspersed with readings and a period of silence.
We welcome seekers from any faith tradition. We do not proselytize. We are simply a sanctuary for any seeker wanting a place of quiet prayer and reflection.
