August 7th : Fly early morning from Mumbai to Leh (Direct 2 hr flight).

August 8th : Leh Sightseeing. Overnight stay in Leh.

August 9th : Drive to Pangong Lake, Overnight stay in comfortable tent camps.

August 10th : Pangong Lake to Leh, Stay in Leh.

August 11th : Leh to Nubra Valley. Overnight stay in comfortable tent camps.

August 12th : Nubra Valley to Leh. Overnight Stay in Leh.

August 13th : Departure from Leh to Mumbai.

August 7th Day 1 Monday :

Early Morning 2hr Direct flight from Mumbai to Leh

Arrive at leh and get acclimatized to the high altitude and 100% pure oxygen.

Breakfast and local sightseeing to Leh Palace & Shant Stupa

August 8th Day 2 Tuesday : Leh (Full Day Excursion)

• We drive towards Kargil road and start our sightseeing with Hall of Famenear Leh. It is worth a visit for every citizen.

• It is a glorious museum constructedby Indian army.Further on we proceed to Kali Mata Temple, Gurudwara Patthar SahibNestled deep in the Himalayas, which was built by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 tocommemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev.

• A drive of another 4 kms takes us to Magnetic Hill which defies the law ofgravity. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road the vehicle slides up & further.

• Driving through a picturesque landscape we reach the confluence of the Indusand Zanskar river 4 km before Nimmu village.And Visit to Basgo; certainly the most impressive of Ladakhi citadels despiteits ruined state.

August 9th Day 3 Wednesday : Leh to Pangong (7 hrs drive)

• We leave for Pangong Lake, en-route visiting Shey Palace, The ancientcapital of Ladakh & Thikseyan impressive complex rising tier upon tier on ahill above the village and carry on further towards Pangong through Changlapass 5486 Mtrs.Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m).

• A long narrow basin ofinland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China.A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lakeand its surroundings are under army surveillance.

• Enjoy the landscape in the backdrop of the Lake. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. This is where the climax of Amir Khan's Three Idiots was shot.

August 10th Day 4 Thursday : Drive from Pangong Lake to Leh

Morning at leisure to explore the beauty of lake and later we drive back to Leh, enroutevisiting Hemis Gompa, the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa KagyuOrder of Tibetan Buddhism.

August 11th Day 5 Friday : Drive to Nubra Valley ( 125 km / 6 hrs)

• After an early breakfast we drive to NUBRA VALLEY leads throughKHARDUNG-LA-PASS (the highest motorable road in the world) at 18,390 ft,around 39kms from Leh.

• Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It issituated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges ofthe Himalayas.

• Arrive Sumur or Hunder by afternoon and rest of the day at leisure to explore beautiful village of Sumur & Hunder with a Visit to Diskit Monastery.

August 12th Day 6 Saturday : Nubra Valley to Leh

• After your breakfast at the camp, visit the SAND DUNES to enjoy a camel safari (Optional).

• Later we drive to Leh by same route over Khardung La.

• Afternoon rest and relax or take a walk to the local market.
