Thank you to everybody who voted for this year's One Event In September: although there weren't many votes, we could say this was a landslide victory.

Considering the number of participants involved, I've booked a table of eight to see if Roger's Kitchen lives up to the hype. I'm expecting great things.

To reserve your seat at the table...
As usual, I'm asking for a deposit of £12, of which £10 goes toward your bill. (The rest goes toward group and payment fees).
A deposit for the table has been made to the restaurant, so you must find someone to take your place (and receive the deposit from them) if you can no longer make it.

• You can send the deposit through PayPal (https://paypal.me/drewmaughan/12), making sure you reference your name on Meetup and the event. Please get in touch for alternative methods.
• Anyone RSVPing without a deposit who no-shows or cancels after RSVPs close will be permanently removed from the group.
