@ Honey & Smoke [Thanksgiving Feast]

"Bridget Fojcik, our resident American, and the Manager of Honey & Spice deli returns with her sell-out Thanksgiving Supper Club. Join us on Thursday 27th November for a not-to-be-missed menu! We’ll be serving all the classics: Waldorf salad, buttermilk mash, traditional turkey, Bridget’s special stuffing, and plenty more. For dessert, think pumpkin cheesecake."

I wanted to continue the group's tradition of a Thanksgiving event, even though I'm as American as tea and crumpets.

This year, I eventually decided on a supper club offering. Just like this group, Bridget's Thanksgiving dinner is in its third year, and allegedly has a good reputation.

It is on the pricey side, at £65 per person and 12.5% service charge (meaning £73.13), not including drinks.

If that hasn't put you off, you'll be pleased to know that I've reserved a table for ten thankful people.

Apart from the above description, there's no specific menu mentioned, but the food will be served "family style". There is a vegetarian (Phanksgiving*) option available.

To reserve your seat at the table...
Because of the price per person, I'm asking for a deposit of £24 per person for this event, of which £20 will go toward your bill. (The rest goes toward group and payment fees).

• You can send the deposit through PayPal (https://paypal.me/drewmaughan/24), making sure you reference your Meetup name and the event. Please get in touch for alternative methods.
• The deposit is refundable unless you cancel after RSVPs close, or no-show.
• Anyone RSVPing without a deposit who no-shows or cancels after RSVPs close will be permanently removed from the group.
