Something a little lighter after the Thanksgiving events, and on the social side in the run-up to Christmas. I have a table of eight at this sushi place, where they're offering 50% off food (not including set menus). What's the worst that can happen?

I'm asking for a deposit of £12, of which £10 will go toward your bill. (The rest goes toward group and payment fees).

• You can send the deposit through PayPal (https://paypal.me/drewmaughan/12), making sure you reference your Meetup name and the event. Please get in touch for alternative methods.
• The deposit is refundable unless you cancel after RSVPs close, or no-show.
• Anyone RSVPing without a deposit who no-shows or cancels after RSVPs close will be permanently removed from the group.
