Last year's Christmas event would always be a tough act to follow, so I stopped worrying about it. This year is more a reflection of the events that unfolded and things as they stand, so we're going for a more traditional offering.

Ffiona's is offering a £48 three course Christmas dinner menu, which they say can be adapted to just about any dietary requirement. I've booked a table for ten guests at the earliest evening spot I could get.

To reserve your seat at the table...
I'm asking for a deposit of £12, of which £10 will go toward your bill. (The rest goes toward group and payment fees).

• You can send the deposit through PayPal (https://paypal.me/drewmaughan/12), making sure you reference your Meetup name and the event. Please get in touch for alternative methods.
• The deposit is refundable unless you cancel after RSVPs close, or no-show.
• Anyone RSVPing without a deposit who no-shows or cancels after RSVPs close will be permanently removed from the group.
