Lynn Hartley is a lawyer who started her career in Calgary providing legal advice to commercial lenders and developers. At the time personal mortgage rates topped out at 18% and stagflation was present.

Lynn changed her legal focus to labour relations and as a negotiator she negotiated contracts worth hundreds of millions of dollars on a per annum basis.

Lynn has always been passionate about real estate stemming from her mother’s farm background and using real estate to assist her raising her 2 children as a single mother.

The focus of her presentation will be “The side of real estate they don’t talk about in seminars.”

Each month, our meetup is focused around a specific real estate topic with a guest speaker and interactive Q&A, or facilitated networking and mastermind-style discussions.

Who?
Our meetups are open to all female investors - beginners and seasoned investors, as well as professionals in the real estate industry.

When?
We always meet on the 1st Saturday of the month from 2pm-4pm.

MEET YOUR HOSTS

Zorya Belanger is the co-founder of WE Invest. A former professional engineer, she transitioned to full-time real estate investing in 2017, focusing on new-build small multifamily projects in Alberta and value-add large multifamily in Texas, with a portfolio nearing $28M in assets under management (AUM). As a mother of two, Zorya is passionate about empowering women to invest in real estate and achieve financial freedom.

Ilona Carletti is the co-founder of WE Invest. After scaling her portfolio using new preconstruction multifamily strategy, Ilona left her 15-year government career and became a full-time licensed real estate agent. A mother of two, Ilona is passionate about helping women achieve financial security through real estate investing.
