Hike to Amir's Garden with Ranger Ernie

We're going to hike with Ranger Ernie to Amir's Garden on Sunday, May 17 at 8am. Given the brevity of the hike, I'd expect to be done well before noon, perhaps by 11am (though can't say for sure!).

Ranger Ernie has allocated from 8am - 12pm to complete the hike (that's his standard allocation of hike time), but given the relatively short total distance, I'd expect to be done sooner than noon.

This a 2 mile, intermediate level hike (based on Ranger Ernie's idea of intermediate, I would expect some up-and-down on the hike). You will sweat.

ALSO: I know some folks were confused by the address of the meeting spot, so best I can figure here are the exact GPS coordinates of where we meet: 34°07'58.0"N 118°16'49.2"W ... if you copy-paste those coordinates into Google Maps it should give you an exact pin drop right near the Park Film Office.

In any case, here's a screenshot of where we're meeting, so match this up with your driving directions / map app and you should be good.

It's confusing because while technically the Ranger Station is 4730 Crystal Springs, typing that address into Google doesn't give you the exact right spot. Just remeber, if you park by the baseball fields, it's just a hundred or so yards northwest of there!

Please also remember to wear hike appropriate clothing, bring water, sunscreen, and wear a hat. Looking forward to seeing folks on Sunday morning!
