Elixir Workshop (free) - Installation and Hello World

Hi Folks,This is a free event, hosted at a coworking space.

If you haven't yet heard of the Elixir Programming Language (http://elixir-lang.org), it is taking the development world by storm!
It combines the fault tolerance and concurrency first features of Erlang with a syntax and metaprogramming that rival Ruby.

It is fast and productive while also being very light on resources.

We will be doing a basic workshop to get it installed on your laptop and write our first simple program. If time permits, maybe we can try for something a little more interesting.

There will be a short intro talk by a local Elixir expert (or me) and then we will go heads down.
