Calling all nature lovers and sustainability enthusiasts! 🌍🌿 We're excited to announce our eco-nursery 🌱🌳 project, where we're turning waste into green treasures. 🌿🌍♻️

🌳🌱Project WONDER!🌱🌳

WONDER = WMTC's Own Native trees Depot for Environmental Restoration

It's our own nursery curated with waste plastic packets such as those of milk, chips, detergents etc., using stray saplings such as those of peepal and neem, or fruit seeds such as mango or jamun that we consume at home (during the season).

We're addressing the following areas simultaneously:
- Waste Management through the reuse of milk packets
- Curating a nursery of native tree saplings, especially those which are becoming rare, the ones that aren't even available in government and sometimes in private nurseries
- Preparing for our plantation drives, we can culture these saplings to a good 4-5 feet height before planting - better chances of their survival

You can also start collecting these, begin with the easiest - milk packets and bring them along!
