First Meeting, are we all on the same page

Below is an outline of how I believe Trump can be prevented from taking power. My intention is to use this Meetup group to bring together people that have the opinion that Trump can not take office, and are willing to contribute ideas and/or time to enable this effort.
The zoom meeting is to brainstorm. Please review the website 14aa.org and join in with thoughts and suggestions.

1. The Fourteenth Amendment, Section 3 prohibits individuals who have engaged in insurrection against the United States from holding public office. This would apply to Donald Trump with his involvement with the events of Jan 6, 2021
2. Trump’s campaign promises and his rhetoric since winning the 2024 election have raised strong concerns on how he will perform as the president. If he enacts the policies he has described it will be catastrophic for the American people as well as the USA standing in the world.
3. It is necessary that Trump is prevented from gaining control of the Executive branch of the government. Use of the Fourteenth Amendment is the vehicle to use.

The idea here is that there is no need for violence, no need for any action. Biden needs to bring together his cabinet, the Secretary of Defense, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and if they all agree that Trump can not be the next president, then they make an announcement. "If you work within the Executive Branch, whatever you did yesterday, do it again today. All standing orders remain in effect until amended or rescinded by my authority."
