Blindfold Jams are dives into SENSORIAL MYSTERY! And Roseminna Watson is an exquisite muse to accompany us on our journey.
We will begin with a warm-up drawing from Authentic Movement practices to hone our internal listening skills, slowly opening to contact and discovering the dances that emerge from whole hearted presence. We’ll then take our time laying out our container for the jam before diving into the magical sensory realm with Rosey!

Audience Praise for Roseminna:
“I felt something akin to a summoning ... Yes, it had that kind of primordial power. The kind where you forget where you are or even what body you’re in or what century. A transporting.”
“More lyrical than the deep sea language of the whales. I carried away with me a new appreciation of the resilience of the human spirit.”

Warm up by Rebecca Foster: Rebecca Foster thrives (in dance as well as in life) on playful improvisation and nourishing contact. She currently facilitates an array of conscious dance forms, teaches Mindfulness Based Emotional Intelligence in the state prison system and is a Mindfulness & Embodiment Coach for clients internationally. https://embodyfreedom.net/
BEGINNERS WELCOME!
If blindfolds feel like an edge for you, please know that they can actually simplify our dances (“slow & low” becomes the primary pathway, truly accessible to anyone). They are also a SURPRISINGLY HELPFUL aid in honing our internal compass, especially regarding our “yeses” and “nos” with regard to contact. Meanwhile rotating witnesses support safety & exploration and the ambient soundscape drops us deeper into the sensory mystery.
