Mutts & Meows at Austin Animal Center 🐶🐱

Join us for Mutts & Meows, a one-time group dog walking (and/or kitty enrichment time) volunteer opportunity at Austin Animal Center.

Our goal is to get every “green dot” dog in the shelter out for a morning walk and back settled in their kennels (and ready to meet the day's adopters!) before the shelter opens for business at 11:00 am. Not comfortable walking dogs? Help get all of the hungry cats and kittens fed so they can prepare for their eight-hour morning power nap!

Please wear closed-toed shoes to volunteer at the Austin Animal Center (AAC). You're welcome to bring old leashes, treats, toys - anything you'd like to donate to AAC - but there is no need to bring anything. We will begin promptly at 9:00 am with a short orientation in a conference room just inside the main lobby entrance.
