is back!

Your most direct way to help our troops!

Yes, we are still at war and your blood is needed to help.

It's time, once again, for the Armed Services Blood Drive. This drive is proudly being sponsored by the Blue Star Mothers of Central Ohio, and hosted by the American Legion and the U.S. Army Reserve Center. This is one of the few blood drives for the Armed Forces in the country that is open to the public. The blood will be collected by the Armed Services Blood Program (ASBP), the military's exclusive blood collection agency. The blood goes exclusively to military personnel, including a good portion to help save the lives of American forces deployed in Afghanistan.

All blood collected will be immediately processed, and then most will be flown directly from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, by priority, overseas and in theater within a week. You cannot ask for a better, more direct way to support our troops.

Food and refreshments will be provided. While walk-ins are accepted, donors are encouraged to pre-register for an appointment at https://www.militarydonor.com/index.cfm (This gives the organizers an idea of how many to expect, and saves YOU time in the donation process.)
