Join us for a spectacular day exploring Caernarfon and Dolbardan Castle in Wales!

The agenda:
Wales has over 600 castles, and we will spend the morning in the walled town of one of the largest and most famous of them all! Caernarfon! (With castle entrance included). Before we enter, we will learn its fascinating history before you have time to explore the castle yourselves!

After lunch we will visit the stunning landscape that surrounds the Welsh ruins of Dolbardan castle at the base of Snowdonia National Park. Simply beautiful! An amazing day and not to be missed! A favourite for most of our guides, this trip blends fascinating history and beautiful scenery into one memorable day out. :)

We hope you can join us for an afternoon of peace, exploration and friendships to the wonderful Peak District - the British countryside at its best!

• What we'll do:

Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the great British countryside! Famous for its association with Jane Austen and other famous writers and film sets, it's a wonderful place for hiking. We will take a short climb to the top of Mam Tor and enjoy spectacular views. We will also visit the village of Castleton where there are lovely British pubs and cafes. One of the most photogenic villages we ever did see! There's an opportunity to visit Peveril Castle, local caves, and the gorge of Cave Dale or Winnat's Pass after your free time. Take a deep breath full of that countryside air!

• Details
The trip is only £49, and includes comfortable coach travel, two knowledgeable guides who till take you to Mam Tor, Castleton and an optional walk up a gorge! The meeting point for all trips is outside Costa Liverpool, L2 1TD.

• What to bring
Water, lunch, a fully charged phone and camera. Also wear suitable walking boots and layered waterproof clothing as it can be wet, muddy and windy.
