We're talking about chakras this week, the energy centers of our aura originally mapped in the yogic and tantric traditions of India and later adopted by Western occultism. We'll cover the lineage of this particular view of the human energy body as it came to us through the Theosophists and the Golden Dawn, and then we can get practical. Most Western magickal traditions work with a similar seven-center system, and we'll look at not only what these energy centers govern in our bodies and spirits, but how chakra work fits in with the grounding, shielding, and manifestation that many of us practice. From 17 Norse soul parts to the 8-part chakra mapping on the Wheel of WISE and everything in between, lets talk about the human energy body and its role in our magick.
