Interweave Technologies is looking for help building websites. If you know of someone who might be interested, please have them email their resume to [address removed]. If anyone has any questions about the position or the company, please feel free to email me directly at [address removed].

Position Description:
Interweave Technologies is looking for a Web Design Generalist for our Huntsville, Alabama office. We are dreaming of someone who is equally comfortable in a sales meeting, dreaming creative solutions to business problems, hacking code in Notepad++, migrating a client's PowerPoint graphic to a Photoshop masterpiece, and laughing in company meetings.

The team that you will be working with will include you, a genius graphic artist/theme developer, and a rockstar business development person, but roles get blurred all the time - we all work in areas that are not our strength to keep delivering quality work to clients. We are primarily a WordPress shop, but we do have some static HTML and DotNetNuke sites to support.

Must-Have Skills and Knowledge
-WordPress Custom Theme Development
-WordPress Custom Module Development
-Can argue with the designer & biz dev about the importance/non-important to a project of page load time, HTML5, CSS3, microformats, responsive design, semantic design, SVG, SASS/LESS, social media, progressive enhancement, caching, CDNs, AJAX, etc. Basically, you watch the bleeding edge of web design and know when to start using new technologies/methods to benefit our clients.

The Ideal Candidate
-contributes to an open source community.
-has coded DotNetNuke modules in VB.NET and C#.
-writes words well, and not just words in code.
-can administer both LAMP and Windows web servers.
-can move a website with RSYNC.
-understands the principles of Responsive Design and the skillset to implement.
-knows how to not mess up a site's SEO.
-desires to make his/her websites load as fast as possible
-has experience in marketing.
-doesn't mind providing IT support to clients, if necessary.
-has a beach house and/or yacht that he enjoys letting his co-workers borrow.

Interweave Technologies provides IT Support and Services to companies throughout the Southeast, Infrastructure Cabling Services to companies across the continental United States, and Web Design and Development to a wide variety of companies and organizations.
