Tech eventually gets boring when you're always just hammering away at PHP - no offense, we love you PHP.
Many of us dream of one day creating our own product or service and making money from it; I've had that dream, too! Reality often looks different: we have too many other things on our plate, and when we do find the time, where do we even start? With my talk, I want to do one thing above all: save you time. I'll show you what I've tried over the years and what my situation looks like now. Meanwhile, we can all have a good laugh at my mistakes... and there were quite a few.

About Matthias
Matthias is an open source maintainer, entrepreneur, and Rust consultant at corrode. Most of all, he's curious and likes to use computers in creative ways if his cat Oskar permits.

Do you know what a Firewall is? Are you well versed in JSON? Do you have a stuffed PHP Elephant at home? You have seen Hackers in 1995 and a hundred times since? And you love game shows? Then this one is for you! Enjoy four contestants answer in the form of a question and guess along, or test your knowledge and step up to the stage yourself!

About Simon
Simon became a member of this meetup in 2017 when the former organizer and then boss of Simon, Andy, kidnapped him one evening, and he hasn't left since. For work he does container and Linux things, trying to avoid the Kraken in the sea of Kubernetes.
