Introduction to React by Stoyan Stefanov

On September 24th we'll have Stoyan Stefanov from Facebook talk about React and performance.

React (http://facebook.github.io/react/) is a new, open source (https://github.com/facebook/react) library from Facebook and Instagram. It's a library for building user interfaces for web applications. Let's talk about how React addresses the performance challenges (DOM manipulations, event handling) when building highly dynamic web interfaces.

Author of books on JavaScript and web performance, organizer of perfplanet.com (http://www.perfplanet.com/)'s web performance advent calendar (http://calendar.perfplanet.com/). Plays guitar and performs live with the band called Anaconda Limousine.
