Description:
At our January session, Sergey Chernyshev will talk about caching in web applications, importance of cache, best practices and how to approach cache planning.
He will cover caching in general sense and will go into detail about HTTP caching and how to control it. Sergey will talk about cache invalidation - the biggest problem in caching and describe different ways to address it for browser caches.

Sergey Chernyshev works at truTV (formerly known as Court TV) and responsible for web technology for their highly trafficked web site trutv.com (http://www.trutv.com/). He has more then 15 years of web technology experience and active open source developer and web technology enthusiast.
