BMAD: From Vibe Coding to Spec-Driven Development
Too many teams fall into vibe coding — prompting the AI, tweaking, iterating — only to hit walls when they try to scale, maintain, or integrate with legacy code. This talk shows how you can keep the momentum and creative flow of vibe coding and bring in the structure of spec-driven development using the BMAD-METHOD on existing codebases.

You’ll learn how to:

• Introduce spec-driven practices early: defining clear PRDs & architectures before jumping into generating code.
• Incorporate your existing codebase into the AI’s context (flattening) so the AI understands what’s already there.
• Split large specs & architecture docs into well-structured parts (sharding) so AI inputs stay lean, relevant, and manageable.
• Use BMAD’s workflows to get reliable, production-quality output in legacy settings, not just prototypes.

If you’re working on an existing system, carrying technical debt, or tired of AI divergence and rework, this session will give you concrete steps to turn vibes into dependable, scalable development — without sacrificing speed or creativity.
