Web3 Meetup #1

QED (we are hiring) is super excited to announce a partnership with The Sandbox Game, bringing the metaverse closer to Timisoara. Together with The Sandbox Game we’re working on bringing Web3 closer to everyone. We want to empower people to own their content and use it in other virtual worlds and decentralised apps.

Without any further ado, we’ll meet in person, on 5th July, starting from 19:00, at Cowork Garden to put the building blocks for a series of Web3 meetups. We’ll talk about how a NFT collection is being created and launched at Sandbox. Next we’ll find out what dynamic NFTs are and what they can be used for. Each talk will be centred around the latest two collections that we either launched or will be launching: People Of Crypto and Steve Aoki.

Launching a collection looks easy, but it definitely comes with a lot of challenges. Marius Balaj will talk about how contracts are being managed at Sandbox, from creation and upgrades to tests and deployments.

After a short break, we’ll continue on the same topic with our next speaker Vlad Temian who will talk about how a NFT collection is generated and how an already generated NFT can be updated using Dynamic NFTs.

Each session will be around 30min long with a short break in between with snacks and beverages on the house.
