Yay! Hope you are having a smashing start of the year. 2023 is looking awesome with many news and focus around the future. For this event the theme will be Web3 visions for the future, to look at how our speakers and panellist see the future. We will be back to Microsoft Reactor, probably the best venue in town as it offers all you can dream about in terms of technology and comfort. Come join us! You won't be disappointed.

Today we are announcing Weiran Yao, our first speaker. She is going to be discussing the role of crypto galleries and curation in the art industry. Awesome! ✨🚀

- The new paradigm of crypto art content curation by Weiran Yao
Weiran is ArtGee CMO. ArtGee is a decentralised art ecosystem around digital assets (NFT), which provides service for digital art transaction, curation, auction and investment.
In this talk, Weiran will introduce the development of their gallery, including the cooperation with leading platforms such as SuperRare and Nifty Gateway; how NFT galleries can update their curatorial strategies under the background of web3, and take responsibility of balancing the connection between technology, aesthetics maintenance and the crypto market.
- Meritocratic DAO Governance: Tracing & quantifying contributions by Luca Martinelli
Luca is the event producer at Vandalo Ruins and a believer in the potential of NFTs to monetise and own digital experiences. He aims to improve the quality of social spaces and create connections through innovation and technology.
In this talk, Luca will discuss a meritocratic system in DAOs, aimed at tracking positive contributions and promoting accountability. It utilises smart contracts to digitalise relationships and actions for a value-generating approach towards a common goal. Join Luca as he explores alternative solutions to traditional governance models.
- Web3 past, present and future: Insights by Pauline Hohl
Pauline Hohl, co-founder of Unik Labs and product designer, is creating a platform that enables individuals to become creators of metaverse wearables and participate in the first large-scale wearable co-creation experiment. This innovative concept is changing the way people think about digital fashion.
In this talk, Pauline will provide insights into the history, present and future of web3, exploring its evolution and how it has impacted businesses in the past year. From big headlines to scandals, she will discuss the current state of the market and what the future holds for this exciting and rapidly-growing field.
