Yay! We are back with our first event of 2024. The theme will be Interstellar Nebula as the space between different areas of the Web3 Universe. As always, we will bring you new ideas and a glimpse of what may be coming in the near future. We are back at Barclays Moorgate branch, which is a premium venue just a minute away from the tube. Come join us! You won't be disappointed.

Doors will open at 5:45 PM, to start at 6:00 PM and be done-and-dusted by 8pm. Remember to get in time so you don't miss out if we reach full capacity!

Today we are announcing Claire Conby, our first speaker. She is going to be discussing the place of the British Pound as a digital currency in Web3. Awesome! ✨🚀

Claire is Executive Director and Operations & Innovation Lead at the Digital Pound Foundation with a distinct focus on payments innovation and new forms of digital money, including CBDCs.

In this talk, Claire explores the potential of the British Pound in Web3. Discover the use cases of a Digital Pound, including both public CBDCs and private mechanisms: cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, and tokenized deposits.

• Crypto for good by Rajesh Sinha

Rajesh leads esynergy's web3 and blockchain practice - helping clients to understand and benefit from DLT technologies. He is also cofounder of Launchnodes.

In this talk, Rajesh will share how some of the world's leading charities and NGOs are benefiting from blockchain technology, how blockchain can transform philanthropy and aid, and explain how Ethereum Impact Staking is already changing lives every day.

• A Journey into AI Music Generation by Nina Ma

Nina is a Master's student in Cognitive Science, majoring in AI and Neuroinformatics. Previously, Software Engineer at Microsoft and currently Technical Consultant at PwC.

In this talk, Nina will delve into the latest advancements in AI music generation, from groundbreaking models to innovative tools that empower musicians and enthusiasts alike. You will learn from demos and real-world examples highlighting its capabilities and limitations. Finally, she will explore reactions from creators and the general public defining the future of music in the age of AI.
