Following the biggest event in the Ethereum calendar, Devcon4, we are going to hear from some conference attendees on what they think were the highlights.

One of the big themes of Devcon4 was progress towards the next generation of Ethereum: Serenity (formerly known as Eth2.0 or Shasper). There are several client implementations currently under development, one of which is being developed right here in Sydney. Lighthouse is a Serenity implementation in Rust by Sigma Prime. We will hear an update from SigP about what Serenity is and how Lighthouse hopes to bring it closer.

Finally we will hear from Pet3rpan of Tenzorum about how to get involved with the online Ethereum developer community. He will provide an introduction into Ethereum's protcol improvement process (EIP) and describe how to best contribute.

This month, the event is arranged and sponsored by Sigma Prime and will be held in CoWork Newtown: 404 King Street, Newtown.
