Los Angeles Weekly Coding Study Group.
Currently we are explore the basics of Django and Flutter, from scratch. For beginners and experts alike. We’ll talk basic concepts of Django MTV (MVC) frameworks, and Flutter UI concepts, like understanding cross platform components (know as widgets).
For this project, we will be focusing on taking in 2 technologies together:
- Using the Django REST Framework to create an API, and
- Consuming that API using the cross platform frontend framework, Flutter.
Note on Experience Level:

If you've studied online or participated in a Bootcamp, this is a great group to maintain your skills, keep you up-to-date with software industry best practices, and explore fresh technologies as they emerge.
We are a technically diverse, curious group of developers jumping into web technologies including full-stack frameworks, front-end framework, and build tools as well as DevOps.
