JavaScript 101: Hands-on Workshop

In case you missed our first iteration of our workshops this is your second chance. Due to the first class selling out quickly there have been requests for another iteration, so here it is so RSVP as soon as possible.

In today's day-long workshop we will learn how to code in core JavaScript. No frameworks, no libraries, just plain ole' JavaScript.

This is a hands-on workshop where we will learn and apply JavaScript in one day. It will not make you an expert overnight, but it will give you an invaluable shortcut to picking it up quickly.

The workshop will be taught by myself, Milan Adamovsky. If you've come to my other events you may be familiar with my progressive teaching/presenting style - and this will be no different. My goal is to engrave this knowledge in you and give you a solid understanding of the topic. This is a rare opportunity for you to learn JavaScript in an extended session from someone who's been doing this for over 10+ years.

There is a $25 RSVP fee to as this is a day-long event. You didn't expect you can learn JavaScript in one hour? The fee covers my time, food, drinks, and put towards the treasury for growing this group.

By the end of this workshop you should be able to code a basic JavaScript application and understand the workings of the moving parts to make it do what you want it to do.

This is a day-long workshop to allow for coding, questions, exercises, and have an interactive experience.
