Values

Story Focused:
Discussions will focus mainly on writing and reading, such as story design, genre, character design, reading experience, and other topics related to stories. Topics unrelated to story creation will not be discussed during the activity.

Respect Creative Freedom:
Everyone has own way of writing. Different opinions are welcome, but the final decision always belongs to the writer. No one will be dismissed or criticized because creative ideas are different.

Protect Creative Privacy:
Participants should not share core details of stories, such as key settings, original concepts, outlines, or other essential content. If there is something do not want others to know, can say, “I’d rather not share that.” No explanation is needed.

Fee: Free, but cannot bring food inside.

Flow

Short Discussion:
We will have a short round of discussion. Beginner can share stories enjoy reading or stories planning to write. Experienced writers can share writing experience or talk about the general direction of story. Can share nothing, listen to other people's stories.

Quiet Writing:
After the discussion, we will move into writing session. Everyone focus on working own story. If writing problem or get stuck, can ask organizer for help at any time, may do some simple brainstorming, but not instruction.

Activity End:
Please do not share your work. Bring the story home, or submit it ownself. This activity does not provide editing, work critiques, or connections with publishing platforms. Welcome to talk briefly about story, but there will be no critique or evaluation.

Important

The activity has only 4 seats. If cannot attend, please change your RSVP 24–48 hours in advance.

Please bring whatever writing tools, such as a laptop, tablet, pen and paper, or any other personal writing tools.

If late, there is no need to wait, just join the writing session directly.

There is no required word count. No writing experience is required. We do not compare who writes better.
