Get going with microservices

Details

We're back with another evening full of JavaScript talk! This time we have the folks from KintoHub delivering a talk.

📣 Get going with microservices:

A quick introduction into the microservices world, and reasons why companies should use that approach in order to be ready to scale globally.
During the presentation, Roman is going to present how one can easily deploy a simple "TODO" webapp built in Preact, communicating to a Node.js server, and deployed as a separate microservice with MongoDB connection, by using KintoHub.
Then he will walk the audience through the details of how the communication layer between two apps is working, and how to establish a MongoDB connection and synchronization with your data. Along the way showcasing some features that the KintoHub platform is empowering developers with to make the development process more robust and reliable.

👤 Roman Zhyliov:

A full-stack engineer passionate about building scalable solutions to solve problems globally.

🕖 Doors open at 7PM, and the talk starts at 7:30PM.

Drinks are kindly sponsored by KintoHub.

📍 We're at the Garage Academy Campus, conveniently located just a short walk away from Wan Chai MTR.

Garage Society was founded in 2014, and is the first co-workspace located in Hong Kong's Central District. Our name pays homage to the game-changing companies that were born from a garage, such as Google, Apple, and Amazon. Since 2014, we’ve grown and evolved alongside our members to become a leading co-working operator in Asia. Garage Society has four unique locations throughout Hong Kong, and two in Southeast Asia, with plans to further expand our ecosystem in the works.

See you on Tuesday, November 27!
