What is WebXR & WebVR? WebXR Device API (WebVR 2.0) is an experimental Javascript API that provides access to Virtual Reality devices, such as the Oculus Go, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Windows MR or a smartphone based Google Cardboard, through the browser! This group is for developers, designers, creators, artists and WebXR fans of all types that want to learn more, talk about the technology, have a look at concepts and projects, and brainstorm creative ways to visualize immersive content.
Meetings will be a mix of presentations, events, challenges, and workshops.
The WebXR New York meetup is dedicated to diversity and inclusion in our speakers and attendees - and we welcome suggestions for speakers of diverse backgrounds!
