Saco Canoe Trip Weekend

The Wedeln Ski & Outdoors Club will host our annual Saco River Canoe trip the weekend of July 11th. This event includes a weekend long stay at our ski house in Bartlett NH.

The weekend starts with Friday night social at the club where you can meet your fellow paddlers before you get on the river. Saturday we start with breakfast at the ski house. Buses will shuttle us to the river. The river is a 6 mile trip downstream past huge sandbars and nice swimming holes. Feel free to decorate your boat or wear a costume: prizes for the best. We will stop often and float down as a group. Most years we have about 50 people. At the end of the day the bus will take us back to the ski club for a BBQ and bonfire.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included on Saturday. Costs are $185 for the weekend (add $15 for a kayak). This event is only open to Meetup members who have attended at least 1 previous event, so come by our Tuesday night Remnant beer meetup, or join us on a hike if you'd like to attend the canoe weekend.
