This is a free group for beginners new to the game of beach volleyball. We can show some basics, but let's mostly focus on having fun and being supportive of each other, getting some exercise, and making friends :)

We'll play at the Playa del Rey North Beach Volleyball Courts and you're welcome to come any time. We'll play when we get enough people joining, until sunset or when it gets cold and/or people want to go eat.

There is parking next to it if you're lucky, and also some next to the playground, and along Convoy St.

If the event fills up, come anyways, it's just an arbitrary limit of 10 people :)

Things you should bring:
A positive attitude! This is not a "try hard" group, and the goal isn't "winning" but to have fun with friends.
Sunblock
Food: You'll be starving if you haven't eaten anything before/after some games.
Drinks: You'll wish you had more.
Sunglasses: Polarized helps with the sun. Look into prescription sunglasses if you want.

Hot days:
Sand Socks: Make sure they're breathable or you might get blisters...

Recommended:
Shade: Canopy, umbrella, beach tent, etc.
Chair, picnic mat, beach towel, etc.

Bonus:
Bluetooth speaker
Snacks, food, and drinks to share.
After we're done, let's go get a bite to eat, or head over to the clubhouse :)
