What we’re about
Do you play saxophone, trumpet, trombone, piano/keyboard?
Would you like to join a friendly group of players on either weekly on Wednesday evening 19.30 to 21.30 or fortnightly on Monday afternoon 14.00 to 16.00. We play in a school and a church hall.
Currently there are about twelve to fourteen players in each group, playing saxophones, trumpets, clarinets, guitar, bass and drums.
We are looking for players who have a lot of experience playing in bands and are quite good at sightreading as we now have quite a large repertoire. We play swing. For example; the Hal Leonard series; Easy Jazz Favourites, Best of Easy Jazz, Easy Jazz Classics and Swing Classics for Jazz ensemble.
We do not play gigs.

We have a summer break in August and will resume this year on September 10th, for Wednesday band and on September 22nd for Monday band.
