A little more about the book-
The novel follows Sadie Green and Sam Masur, two friends who meet as children and reconnect in college through their shared passion for video game design. Along with their collaborator Marx, they build a successful gaming company, creating immersive worlds that reflect their inner lives.

The story spans decades, exploring creativity, ambition, love, identity, and the complexities of collaboration. It’s less about romance in a traditional sense and more about the deep, evolving bond between Sadie and Sam—how they hurt each other, support each other, and create together. Themes include the meaning of success, the cost of genius, and how people cope with trauma and loss.
