Peebles Island State Park (not paved, but well beaten)

(Apologies to those that I told there would be no walk on Friday, 6/20; but that I would be scheduling a walk for Tuesday, 6/17. My schedule had a major change, and I cannot do Tuesday, but can do Friday.)

Peebles Island trail is not paved, but it is well trodden and mostly wide enough that grassy areas (possibly harboring ticks) can be avoided.

Note that the website says "Most New York State Parks charge a vehicle use fee to enter the facility. Fees vary by location and season." The two times that we have gone to this park in the past, we were not charged. But, to be on the safe side, you should probably be prepared.
