Albany-Hudson Electric Trail - Valatie

I did this trail in August by myself. It was lovely. I do not remember a non paved part, and I walked about an hour out and an hour back. There is a large parking lot in Valatie. The directions can be tricky because Kinderhook and Valatie kind of merge together. If you put "1007 Kinderhook St, Valatie NY" into your GPS app, you should end up in a parking lot that looks like the picture (above) for this event.

There are no restrooms, but a place called Samascott's Garden Market is nearby (65 Chatham St Kinderhook NY). It has quite a selection and restrooms (https://www.samascott.com/gardenmarket).
