Aylesham to Shepherdswell featuring The Majesty Oak

A beautiful 9 mile walk in the Kent countryside featuring The Majesty Oak - Britains most magnificent and biggest oak tree which has been most awe inspiring for centuries !

Please arrive by 9.35am to facilitate the purchase of group train tickets for the train at 10.10am that arrives at Aylesham at 11.52am.

Train ticket : return to Shepherdswell

Or you may decide to drive.

The walk shall commence by noon.

We shall aim to take the train back at either 4.28pm or 4.58pm from Shepherdswell.

You should be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour and have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity.

Meetup fee £5 payable in cash or by bank transfer in advance.

Please bring packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus waterproof jacket and walking shoes/boots or trainers.
